I can’t get no satisfaction

Author:

“Satisfaction” was a huge song in high school, a big, early, drunken moment of dancing. You’d hear those first bars and run to the dancefloor. I saw the Stones in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where I grew up, in ’65, when Brian Jones was still with them. The same night, Bob Dylan was also playing in Cambridge, and in my heart, I wanted to see Dylan more than the Stones. But everybody was going to the Stones, so I succumbed to the spectacle. I always regretted not hearing Bob Dylan play in ’65. [Forfatterinden Eileen Myles i et interview med Pitchfork]
