Der er kunstnere, man aldrig bliver færdig med. Fx Woody Guthrie, der for mange kunstere – bl.a. Bob Dylan – var koblingspunkt mellem tradition og nutid. Guthries musik er heldigvis godt dokumenteret på diverse medier. Og til efteråret kommer en lille boks på tre CD’er med hyldestkoncerter – fra Carnegie Hall og Hollywood Bowl  til ære for manden. Tre plader med masser af kendte kunstnere og en del ekstramateriale.
