Frank Sinatra bliver aldrig en af mine helte, men det betyder ikke, at jeg ikke kan lide en del af det, han har lavet. Fx fik Rickie Lee Jones henledt min opmærksomhed på J. G. Caldwells sang “Circles”, som blev skrevet til netop Frank Sinalhorn og var med på en plade fra 1968. En af den slags sange, der kryber ind under huden på en – i mit tilfælde mest i Jones’ hudløse version. Men her er Frank, the Frank…
